What gets removed
Auroscale connects to a Facebook Page or Instagram account only to publish the posts you approve. When you remove the app, we erase the access tokens and the Facebook user ID we hold for every Facebook connection belonging to your account. Nothing further is published, and no further data is read from Meta.
Posts that were already published stay on your Facebook Page and Instagram account. They belong to you, and only you can delete them — from Facebook or Instagram directly.
How to request deletion
Either of these works:
- In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find Auroscale and remove it. Facebook notifies us and the disconnection happens automatically.
- Or email us at admin@auroscale.com and we will action it and confirm.
You can also disconnect an account at any time from the Connections screen inside Auroscale, without removing the app.
