Cookie policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
This policy explains how Auroscale uses cookies and similar technologies on auroscale.com, what each type does, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in a comparable way. We refer to all of them as cookies in this policy.
The cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories. Only strictly necessary cookies are active by default; the others stay off until you allow them.
| Category | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site working and secure, and remember your cookie choices. These can’t be switched off. | Always on |
| Preferences | Remember settings you choose so the site behaves the way you expect next time. | Off until you allow it |
| Analytics | Help us understand which pages people visit and how they use them, so we can improve the site. Data is aggregated. | Off until you allow it |
| Marketing | Measure our ad campaigns and show you more relevant Auroscale ads on other sites. | Off until you allow it |
How we store your choice
When you make a choice, we save it in a first-party cookie and in your browser’s local storage, both named as_consent, for 6 months. After that, or if this policy changes in a way that affects your choice, we ask again.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and marketing cookies, and those categories start switched off.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
